This 2008 compilation from Sony/BMG collects 16 tracks from genre-bending British trip-hop artist/producer Finley Quaye 's seven-year tenure with Epic Records. Quaye 's heady blend of dub, reggae, rock, and trip-hop won him a sizable following on the strength of a handful of hits, some of which ("Sunday Shining" and "Even After All") appeared on his 1997 debut. Later singles like "Spiritualized," "Dice," and "This Is How I Feel" reflected his gradual shift into ult alternative rock territory. Fans looking to avoid.

The Best Years of Our Lives is the third studio album by Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, released in 1975. It was the first album that featured Harley's name ahead of the band's (the band was previously known simply as Cockney Rebel). The album contains the band's only UK number one, the million-selling "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)". The album was produced by Harley and Alan Parsons.

The Epic taps into this spirit but forgoes the fiery and explosive jazz of the late '60s for the period just after, when jazz, pop-soul, and R&B came together to find common ground after the tumult of the previous decade. Courtney Barnett's debut album has the kind of weary worldview usually associated with an artist's later efforts. Three years ago, he signposted his ambitions with a record title like Art Dealer Chic. Now he nails everything he tries, from the chugging guitars of opener "A Beautiful Exit" to the appearance of Lenny Kravitz-hardly a critically rehabilitated guy-on album closer Face the Sun.

The first country album to sell a million copies featured many previously released songs by Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Tompall Glaser and Jennings' wife Jessi Colter. But unifying the songs under the theme of outlaw country - a concept gaining national traction - made this album a runaway hit. A big part of that was due to the perfect cover art, depicting all the singers as dangerous, wanted outlaws from the Old West.
