Learn about and follow jazz musician Joe Alterman (Piano) at All About Jazz. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, 23 year-old Joe Alterman has been playing the piano since the age of five. He moved to New York City in the fall of 2007 to study music at New York University. He graduated in May of 2012 but is now back to complete his Masters' degree.
