Fate Signals was asked to perform at a rally to save Lincoln School, and pulled off this inspired sonic rampage on the sunny afternoon of 8/9/89. The Lincoln School building still stands today! (Remodeled as a condominium.
As a promotional gimmick and marketing experiment, Fate Signals released a series of four different very short cassette tapes, each about 5 minutes per side, as a sort of home made equivalent to a 45 rpm 7" single. Some of these pieces had already been released on the band's full length albums. This compilation collects the entire series of four tapes.
Noisy, primitive and lo-fi. Minimalist rhythms, dissonant riffs, eerie vocals. Typically replies within a few hours. Contact Fate Vs Free Willy on Messenger.
Though, they did make their own choices, the story of Romeo and Juliet is controlled by fate over free will because of Juliet’s relationship to her father, the build-up of misunderstandings, and the resolve that followed their death. Juliet’s daughter-father relationship was in accustom in the Middle Ages (1300s); it was restrictive and gave no leeway and whatever says, goes. An example of this relationship is when Lord Capulet makes a promise to Paris without consolidating it to Juliet. Romeo and Juliet loved each other very much but it was impossible to bring all these variables under control. Their choices weren’t necessarily free will because it all boiled down to one option and it was most of the time something crazy, like drinking a death potion. Being written by William Shakespeare, their whole fate was in the hands of him. He was the puppeteer bringing his puppets to life.
At first, Antigone’s fate was to live, but her free will let her to choose to disobey Creon’s law about burying her brother. When she made the choice to go against Creon, her fate was to die. Towards the end of Antigone, Creon on changed his mind to kill Antigone but fate had already taken over and she died. Likewise, Creon’s fate was to give in to burying Polynecies and let Antigone live. At first, Creon is persistent by the rule he set and must use his niece to set the example for others. The Chorus and Haemon try to convince him otherwise.

Fate versus free will is a common theme in Greek tragedies. In many cases a person who tries to avert their predestined fate will set the pieces in motion that will inevitably lead to that fate. Laius and Jocasta from Oedipus are examples of this. Oedipus The King: Fate vs. Free Will From the very beginning of Oedipus, we can see that the main character of Oedipus is very sure about who he is and where he has come from. One of the most important motifs of the story is the idea of metaphorical blindness, and how Oedipus claims that everyone else around him is blind, and he is the only one that can see.
Fate vs. Free will Upon reading Oedipus by Sophocles, Oedipus the tragic hero is responsible for his downfall. Fate and free will are two opposing ideas that Sophocles portrays ambiguously into the play by leaving it up to the audience to choose which one of the two controls Oedipus’ life. His hamartia was a result of a personality full of hubris, arrogance and a rushed, unwise decision-making, decisions that ultimately led him to his downfall.
FATE VS FREE WILL In a battle of fate verses free will who would win? Would it be fate or would it be free will that would take the victory. It could be the laws and regulation of fate better known as the power of what is suppose to happen. attached to their perspective on whether fate or free will predominates, and in each age a strong preference for a particular perspective tends to develop.
