This CD release, like the previous one, faithfully reproduces the 1974 LP cover art. The contents of this disc are exactly the same as the MAME soundtrack LP released in February 1974. Bea Arthur and Jane Connell reprise their respective roles from the original Broadway production, and the film is even directed by the same director as that production - Gene Saks (Bea Arthur's then husband). Bea Arthur said, only a couple of years before she died - that she didn't like the movie, and that it was a big embarrasment for her.
