VAST Album: Visual Audio Sensory Theater. I made some tabs for VAST songs, of different albuns, and put them here in ultimate-guitar.

VAST sits there, with his loyal fan base who praise this album like it was the work of a superhuman. Well, the album is great. It establishes a genuinely dark mood, and balances it out with some light moments. If you look around, it's rare to See Visual Audio Sensory Theater get anything less than a 5 and almost impossible to see any less than a . I don't consider it the classic that most do, but there is no denying that it is a beautiful and unique album that most likely won't ever be duplicated (Even by VAST). This album seems to get buried under the other great albums of '98 (Mezzanine, Music Has The Right To Children, Moon Safari, and Even You've Come A Long Way Baby) but it is a wonderful find.

On the debut album by VAST, titled Visual Audio Sensory Theater, the listener is introduced to the many talents of one Jon Crosby. With its roots in Nine Inch Nails-like soundscapes and reminiscent of Type O Negative's mellower moments, the ingredient that sets VAST apart from its contemporaries is Crosby's experimentation with samples not yet touched upon in rock music. Some of the material sampled on the debut includes the Bulgarian Female Choir and the Benedictine Monks of the Abbey of Saint-Mauer, plus the use of an actual 18-piece orchestra, to boot. Lars Ulrich of Metallica has praised the album as "one of the best debut albums I've heard in a long, long time," and lovers of ambient electro-rock will undoubtedly agree upon hearing Visual Audio Sensory Theater.

Visual Audio Sensory Theater is the debut album by the band VAST, released on April 28, 1998 by Elektra. He also traveled across the world and recorded demos of world choirs that he used in various songs on the album, which gave the album its trademark world-music theme. lt;/p
