Profile Razor White is a hard rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana formed in 1984. This was Phil Anselmo’s band pre-Pantera. In 1986, Troy John Marks received an offer to join the band Razor White, when their singer, Phil Anselmo left to join Pantera. He hated leaving his friend and band mate, Glenn Farley, but it was a great opportunity to join a bigger, more respected band. Razor White was a highly acclaimed band with good songs and a great live show. This is pretty weak and wimpy. The first song sounded like a pretty solid rocker, but it just kind of went downhill from there. The band seems talented and the singer is very good but the production is poor and destroy everything. At the peak of its success, Razor White broke up in 1991.

The album features two excellent ballads. The Child I Used to Be" and "Follow My Heart" are beautiful compositions worthy of any movie soundtrack. James Cameron missed out on this one when he was choosing songs for Titanic.
