The Hardest Metal: Chromium. The 'hardness' of a mineral is generally determined by the Mohs scale and is defined as the scratch resistance of a mineral. Diamonds are the hardest minerals known to man, but what is the hardest metal? That honor goes to chromium, a metal perhaps best known as the key ingredient in stainless steel. Although stainless steel is various now, chromium is the main additive element. Chromium is also commonly used in electroplating, and the metal surface is chrome-plated to increase hardness and prevent corrosion. The hardest known metal is steel alloy, which is frequently made much harder by including carbon and different components. With a rigidity of . 4 GPa (122,000 psi) and a yield quality of . 4 GPa (67,000 psi), carbon steel is surpassed in hardness just by hard nonmetals, such as rubies, diamonds, or aggregated diamond nanorods.

Documentaries can be a hard sell, but it’s one that’s getting easier all the time. Once viewed as something stiff and obligatory, documentary film has, in recent years, risen to the top of the heap-thanks in no small part to some of the earth-shaking, needle-pushing, and ultimately world-changing films that are listed here, which find their focus in war, love, sex, death, and everything in between  . The gusto with which Congo and his compatriots take to the project is jarring; this is grisly history as told by the victors, Jonah Weiner wrote in The New Yorker. American Movie (1999). The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living is the third album by The Streets, released on 10 April 2006 in the United Kingdom and 25 April 2006 in North America. It is also the shortest The Streets album released so far, with a running time of just 37 minutes and 12 seconds. The Mitchell Brothers and Ted Mayhem, two of Skinner's protégés, make guest appearances on the album.

Ever! is a compilation album brand from Circa Records (trading under the 'strategic marketing' brand name of EMI/Virgin Records). Ever! et., however on a number of indie music collections the genre aspect was replaced by a full list of artist names.

Because diamond is an insulator rather than a conductor of electricity, it is not classified as a metal. One user argued that a car could take anything if it were made of diamond, unless of course if the wall were also made of diamond.

Heavy metal is, to quote Mr. Ian Christie, the sound of the beast. Rock and roll was certainly in, but even the hardest acts, from Led Zeppelin to The Jimi Hendrix Experience, couldn't touch the pathos of four working class lads from Birmingham. Black Sabbath was more than just a Hammer horror film come to life; Black Sabbath's first album became the blueprint for all future metal releases. Like Black Sabbath, the fear factor of Iron Maiden's third studio album has lessened over time thanks to the advent of death metal and black metal.

Daniil Trifonov makes Liszt’s epically difficult piece look utterly effortless. What's the hardest piano piece ever written? Liszt’s Campanella. At least, that's what many musicians believe. The piece was written by Liszt in 1851 and actually comes from a larger piece – the Grandes études de Paganini and is famous for being one of the most difficult pieces ever written for piano. But no one seems to have told Daniil Trifonov

It touches on pop, hip-hop, rock, punk, R&B, jazz, country, and folk; collectively, it tells a story of art forms, cultures, and business models in transition. Most important, these documentaries (and exceptional concert films, in case you were wondering) contain performances that are as essential to understanding these artists as any of their records. Yet until Prince made the concert film Sign o’ the Times (a nearly track-by-track re-creation of the album of the same name), fans who couldn’t get tickets to his shows could only see fleeting glimpses of what he was like onstage: via music videos and his occasional TV and movie performances. The Artist even tried to make Sign o’ the Times hard to watch, keeping it out of circulation after its initial limited theatrical run and VHS release.
