Description

The Polyphonic Spree : The Fragile Army,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен.

The Polyphonic Spree is an American choral rock band from Dallas, Texas that was formed in 2000 by Tim DeLaughter. The band's sound relies on a variety of vocal and instrumental color by featuring a choir, flute, trumpet, french horn, trombone, violin, viola, cello, percussion, piano, guitars, bass, drums, electronic keyboards, and EWI. DeLaughter's previous group, Tripping Daisy, came to an abrupt end in 1999 when guitarist Wes Berggren died of a drug overdose

Director Mike Mills named the album. The PS's frontman and chief composer Tim DeLaughter scored his debut feature film Thumbsucker for the indie big screen (after the death of its original composer Elliott Smith).

Now three albums in, the Polyphonic Spree would appear to be the indie rock band uniquely positioned to answer that question  . Pre-release buzz centered as much on the band's shift from robes to black combat garb as on its new songs, but ain't nothing wrong with a good gimmick.

The Fragile Army is the third album from the symphonic-rock group The Polyphonic Spree. The album was released on TVT Records on June 19, 2007.
