I've Got a Secret was a panel game show produced by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman for CBS television. Created by comedy writers Allan Sherman and Howard Merrill, it was a derivative of Goodson-Todman's own panel show What's My Line? Instead of celebrity panelists trying to determine a contestant's occupation, the panel tries to determine a contestant's "secret": something that is unusual, amazing, embarrassing or humorous about that person/people.
Members; Benny Sharp, Herbert Reeves, Horise O'Toole, Stacey Johnson, and Guy Vernon The Sharpees were a st. Louis group who came in contact with Chicago label One-Derful through its A&R man Mack McKinney and St. Louis bandleader Benny Sharp. In 1964 the group, then consisting of Horise O´Toole, Herbert Reeves and Vernon Guy, signed with George Leaners One-Derful records and soon thereafter they went into the studio to cut their first single "Do The 45". Horise O´Toole had to leave the group because of health issues and was replaced by Stacy Johnson in 1965.

A third single from April of 1966, "I've Got a Secret," failed to shake up the charts, and neither did a final One-derful release "My Girl Jean" b/w "The Sock" three months later. Dormant for three years, they resurfaced on record in 1969 with "Music (I Like It)" on Midas Records as Benny Sharp & the Sharpees. Collectors find anything done on One-derful fantastic, and the Sharpees' recordings can be found on various vinyl and CD compilations that trumpet the One-derful family of labels.
