Hall displays the subtle quiet lyricism that makes his guitar sound instantly identifiable. Both "Beja-Flor" and the title track benefit from his contributions. Though his piano is frequently in the background, it matches Hall's hushed, effective guitar lines.

On this disc he is partnered with three other talented musicians and together they make for great instrumental jazz. Just listen to the beautiful keyboard/ synth layering and guitar playing on the first track and you get an idea of the talent involved. Very atmospheric to be sure. As with all Concord sacd's the sound is first rate and compares with my best sounding sacd's. The recordings are always superb and in pure Dsd. And they are all multi-channel as well
