Someone falls to pieces Sleeping all alone Someone kills the pain Spinning in the silence She finally drifts away. Someone gets excited In a chapel yard And catches a bouquet Another lays a dozen White roses on a grave. The lead single off of the album. Chris Cornell explained to Launch Radio Networks, "The 'Be Yourself' part really just came from a lot of things that I've gone through in my life and a lot of different changes and all the different tragedies and all the horrendously stupid mistakes I've made in my personal life. The music video was modeled after the The Beatles documentary film "Let It Be".

Produced by Rick Rubin. Someone falls to pieces sleeping all alone Someone kills the pain Spinning in the silence She finally drifts away Someone gets excited in a chapel yard Catches a bouquet Another lays a dozen White roses on a grave.

Audioslave delivered another powerful great rock album. And this song, "Be Yourself," is just one of the many other awesome songs on there latest album Out Of Exile. This song really does define Audioslaves sound and is the best represenation of them. Defintley recommend to all rock fans, especially to former soundgarden and rage against the machine fans. I know it is mainstream, and I usually stay on the extreme metal underground side, but I had to hear what these two congealed groups would sound like only about 4 good songs out of 14 on the self-titled.

Be Yourself" is the first single by Audioslave for their second album Out of Exile. It was released in 2005. The lyrics were inspired by events from frontman Chris Cornell's own life. Audioslave.
