My favourite Metallica album, because it features Metallica in a time of despair; Cliff has died, their brutality and anger in the form of music presented as this album. James' riffage and songwriting is absolutely brutal and the complexity of their songs is unlike never before. Easily the best Metallica album and definitely much better than the black album. It is the fastest and most aggressive LP they have ever put out and has like 10 songs but isn't too long. Every song is amazing and I never find myself skipping one.
