Wristslitter - lyrics. G Gallows Chains/Wristslitter EP. I'm better than this. That's what I used to tell myself. I'm no better than this. I could never be something else. Find a better way.

The Chains/Wristslitter EP exemplifies that Gallows is progressively devolving into a mediocre metal band. The song "Chains" has a long introduction (which granted, Gallows has done a few times before) that consists of a group of men and women singing softly to a creepy sounding guitar riff. This goes on for about a minute and fifteen seconds until the actual song starts. Lyrically and musically this song is not all that original or creative.
Album Desolation Sounds. North thaws, South disappears, East vanishes, West fades Cut the love out of my days. You'd see me in chains North thaws, South disappears, East vanishes, West fades Draw down the moon and walk away. You'd see me in chains. North thaws, South disappears, East vanishes, West fades Draw down the moon and walk away You'd see me in chains. In chains, you'd see me in chains In chains, you'd see me in chains. I don't need another violent summer of sham rock and roll, sham rock and roll I don't need another violent summer of sham rock and roll, sham rock and roll I don't need another violent summer of sham rock and roll, sham rock and roll I don't need another violent summer of sham rock and roll, sham rock and.
Gallows made their debut album, Orchestra of Wolves, on a minimal budget in September 2006 after signing to the Nottingham label In at the Deep End Records. In March 2007, shortly after a SXSW gig in Austin, Gallows secured a record deal with Epitaph Records, which made plans to re-release the band's first album, with three bonus tracks, on North American soil that July. Two years later, the band returned with its sophomore album, Grey Britain. In 2011, the band announced it had parted ways with singer Carter. He was soon replaced by Alexisonfire 's Wade MacNeil who made his debut.
