Expectation (Korean: 기대; RR: Gidae) is the first studio album by South Korean girl group Girl's Day. The album was released on March 14, 2013, with the song "Expect" (기대해; Gidaehae) serving as the promotional track. The album's release date coincides with White Day. The album was re-released under the title Female President on June 24, 2013. The song "Female President" (여자 대통령; Yeoja Daetongryeong), was used as the re-release's promotional track.

Girl's Day (Korean: 걸스데이) is a South Korean girl group formed by Dream Tea Entertainment in 2010. The group currently consists of four members: Sojin, Minah, Yura and Hyeri. Members Jisun and Jiin officially left the group in 2010, while Jihae left in late 2012.

Girl’s Day very first album ‘Expectation’ is a mix of their previous singles and a couple of new tracks that clearly show that the group has gone through an evolution of sorts, while still staying recognizably Girl’s Day-ian. For the most part, it works. I just recently discovered Girl's Day and bought this album to see if I would like more than the songs Don't Forget Me and Expectation which were the only two I knew. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I liked all of the songs and can listen to the whole album without skipping a track. The book the Cd comes in is also fantastic and full of great pictures of all four beautiful girls
