Orbital (also known as Orbital 2 or the Brown Album) is the eponymous second studio album by English electronic music duo Orbital, released on 24 May 1993 by Internal and FFRR Records. The album peaked at number 28 on the UK Albums Chart. On Orbital the duo aimed to make more atmospheric music than the dance raves of their first album
With the insanely excellent sound system you’d expect in Dolby’s flagship gaff, the clarity of the sound of Kraftwerk is what really came across, more than the fun 3D graphics. You can’t remove the humour from Kraftwerk, so the slightly silly graphics flying around your head will distract you, but when you go to see them this month
La Düsseldorf is the first album of the band La Düsseldorf. Striking up a stylistic compromise with Michael Rother, the other half of Neu!, Klaus Dinger had recruited his brother Thomas and friend Hans Lampe to play on side two of Neu! '75, taking the band in a more rocking direction than the ambient-inclined Rother cared for. With the split up of Neu! after Neu! '75's release, the remaining members recorded this LP with Neu!/Kraftwerk producer Conny Plank.
Der Plan is a German electronic music group from Düsseldorf, formed in the earlier months of 1979 by Moritz Reichelt (. Moritz R"), Kai Horn, and Frank Fenstermacher, originally under the name of Weltaufstandsplan ("World Rebellion Plan"). This group is considered the pioneer of Neue Deutsche Welle (New German Wave). As CDs swept across the market, Der Plan decided to release their best album in CD. It was released in 1988 under the title of Perlen. Working for the label and record distribution activities over-shadowed the focusing on the band's music. Differences within the group about career priorities began in 1983, resulting in Moritz R leaving the label Ata Tak and moving to Hamburg. Since then Der Plan had changed from a full-time project to an occasional side-project of its members.
