Opening with 'Eerie Inhabitants', this album shows a great maturity in song writing. The track contains an excellent mixture of acoustic interludes, arpeggios and nice clean riffing. The apocalyptic title track is next, showcasing yet more great, memorable thrash riffs, a lot heavier than the opener, and the tougher sounding vocals really fit the theme.

The album was a minor success, peaking at number 136 on the Billboard 200, but managed to sell over 250,000 copies.

Trivia: - The album peaked at on the Billboard 200. - In the liner notes the band members are listed in a way that makes the first letters in their first names spell out their former name Legacy. Disciples of the Watch was inspired by the 1984 film Children of the Corn.

So what have we got here" A huge mix of head banging tunes mixed with some slights hints of melody. Oh yeah, that’s how I like it! But bare away the excess flab and this could just be considered your basic thrash set-up. That isn’t a bad thing at all but some times you can get a bit bored by all the bands copying each other from time to time. But when you are in the mood then oh boy, does this deliver. I’ll describe the band a bit more.

This success would only grow with their next album Practice What You Preach. They toured Europe shortly after its release alongside thrash acts Megadeth, Sanctuary, Flotsam and Jetsam and Nuclear Assault. This was followed by a summer . tour, which featured support from Vio-Lence, Forbidden, Voivod, Sanctuary, Destruction, Overkill, Nuclear Assault, Carnivore, Death Angel, Atheist and Potential Threat. They toured Europe again in August, replacing Megadeth on the Monsters of Rock tour.
