Features Song Lyrics for Lipps, In. s Pucker Up album.

Pucker Up is the second album by American disco act Lipps, Inc with Cynthia Johnson on lead vocals. The album was released in 1980 on Casablanca Records. The album contains the minor hit "How Long", a cover of the 1974 hit by Ace, reaching on the . dance chart and on the . It was not as successful as the group's previous album.

Best known for the chart-topping "Funkytown," released in early 1980, Minneapolis electro-funkers Lipps, Inc. attempted to rekindle that success just over six months later on Pucker Up. Pulling in funk riffs and dance club beats, and layering the whole thing over Giorgio Moroder-esque synth sounds, the band delivered what amounted to "Funkytown" redux
