I would catch Elton live once more in the 1970s when he returned to the Hofheinz Pavilion. For Elton's "A Single Man Tour," he brought along percussionist Ray Cooper for a two man "unplugged" show. Another memorable evening. The final tour for Faces with Rod Stewart. Ronnie Wood iewood had already begun working with The Rolling Stones ollingstones and Rod's latest album "Atlantic Crossing" went Number One in the States. It was time for them to part ways. I remember the show completely and it was brilliant!

Eventually, the album was shelved due to contractual disputes with Allen Klein. Two films of the tour were produced. The concert film Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones! only saw a limited theatrical release in 1974. The film's complete soundtrack was released as an album by Eagle.
