Lyrics to "Steve McQueen" song by Sheryl Crow: Well I went to bed in Memphis And I woke up in Hollywood I got a quarter in my pocket And I'd call. Well I went to bed in Memphis And I woke up in Hollywood I got a quarter in my pocket And I'd call you if I could But I don't know why I gotta fly I wanna rock and roll this party I still wanna have some fun I wanna leave you feeling breathless Show you how the west was won. But I gotta fly I gotta fly. Like Steve McQueen All I need's a fast machine I'm gonna make it all right Like Steve McQueen Underneath your radar screen You'll never catch me tonite

Sheryl Crow - "Steve McQueen". This fiery 2002 release garnered the singer her fourth Grammy for Best Female Rock Performance, and what a showcase it was for the singer. As she approached forty, the singer reminded us all that age was simply a number - releasing a song and a video that showed her swagger had only gotten more defined over the course of time. Sheryl Crow - "Waterproof Mascara". On paper, Crow’s 2013 disc Feels Like Home might appear to be somewhat of a failure. In all honesty, that distinction is because Country Radio didn’t give the stunning album a fair shot, as the format was heavily focused on "Bro Country" anthems at the time. While the Kennett, Missouri native has said that playing the radio game was something that wasn’t for her, this album is definitely worth a look.
