Two years since his last releases for Hospital Productions, Ron Morelli returns with DISAPPEARER. DISAPPEARER claws and tears its way through 13 tracks at 54 minutes long, touching upon everything from cold stripped back electronics, to hints of 90s Hague scum techno, to grim passages reminiscent of early tape minimalists, the amalgamation forms a nasty sonic narrative that reaches an explosive unsettling apex. It's the best album from the . boss to date which, after a set of confidently experimental releases over the last 4 years, shows real development and progress. The addition of scattered vocals are a real strength.
