What's Wrong with This Picture? is the second album by singer-songwriter Andrew Gold. It was released in 1976 on Asylum Records. It includes the hit single "Lonely Boy" which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard singles chart featuring Linda Ronstadt on backing vocals. The album's artwork reflects its title, mimicking a style of visual puzzle that consists of various logical inconsistencies or paradoxes for the viewer to try to identify.
What we have not found, however, is any documentary evidence for it. It may indeed be from The Times, as the story is usually told, but no one has taken the trouble to go through the back issues and find a copy of the actual letter. It has also been attributed to other papers, but again, no proof. It is also entirely possible that it actually happened with another author, but has been attributed to Chesterton because it is typical of both his humility and his wit and because it is associated with the title of a book he wrote in 1910, What’s Wrong with the World.
What's wrong with you?" is used when the speaker is certain that you are unwell or acting in an unusual way, and wants to know the precise cause. It can also be used to express frustration at unreasonable behaviour. What's wrong with you? Why won't you do what I tell you?" "Are you ok?" is less specific and can be used as a general enquiry into someone's well-being, or to check that there somebody isn't experiencing problems, difficulties, injuries, and so on.
