The Chosen Few is a compilation album by British heavy metal band Judas Priest, released on 11 October 2011 by Legacy Recordings label. The album contains Judas Priest songs selected by other heavy metal and hard rock musicians, and was announced on 12 September 2011, for release on 11 October on Legacy Recordings. The entire album was released via an internet stream on AOL Music on 10 October. During its first week on sale, the album sold about 1,300 copies in the United States.

While most of the band's songs were infused with a healthy dose of punk rock energy and aggression, "Why Can't I Touch It?" is a relaxed, albeit angular groove, approaching punk only by way of the Clash's penchant for Caribbean beats and dub-style and perhaps Pete Shelley's astringent, high-register vocal delivery; it is punk maybe.

The Chosen Few is a 1979 album by British pop group The Dooleys. The album contains the singles "Chosen Few" and "Wanted" - both of which were top 10 hits. Wanted" had already appeared on the group's previous album, The Best of The Dooleys, but appeared here in a slightly extended version. Current single "Chosen Few" reached N. in the UK Charts, after previous single had reached N. and album N., making this the peak of the group's career.

The Chosen Few' boasts a nice cross-section of songs that span the veteran British band's underground genre-defining years in the late '70s; through their commercial boom (and bust) in the '80s; and right up to their virulent return at the start of a new decade in 1990. Album opener 'Diamonds & Rust,' selected by Def Leppard's Joe Elliot, offers Priest's signature 1977 electrified version of a tune that was actually written by folk songstress Joan Baez.
