Christmas Songs is the fourth Compilation album by California punk rock band Bad Religion, released October 29, 2013 on Epitaph Records. It is their first full-length Christmas album, featuring eight covers of seasonal songs and an "Andy Wallace mix" version of "American Jesus"

There's a delicious bit of irony to hearing a band called Bad Religion singing with evident fervor, Oh come let us adore him/Christ the Lord as they power through a hopped-up of O Come All Ye Faithful. It's a contradiction that the long-standing Los Angeles-based punk outfit embrace as gleefully as the young lad on the cover of this EP does his new pair of shoes. As if to drive the point home, a portion of the sales of this between-album trifle (and an accompanying 7-inch featuring a cover of the Kinks' Father Christmas ) will be donated to a non-profit that aids survivors.

Bad Religion are putting out a Christmas album this year!. Well? Don’t you get it? It’s ironic, dummy! The band isn’t really putting out a Christmas album. Almost too much work for a joke.

He was also asked if the band has started work on a new album yet, and his answer was: We’re looking forward to not stopping the writing. I think next year is going to be a year of reflection and living life a little bit so we’ll have more stuff to write about.
