Fire" is a song by English rock band Kasabian and is the lead single from their third album West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum. It was released 1 June 2009. On the week of its release it debuted at number 3 in the UK Singles chart, making it their first UK Top 3 entry and their highest-charting single to date as well as their fourth UK Top 10 single. Fire" also debuted at number one in Scotland, becoming Kasabian's highest-charting single there as well.

Kasabian is the debut studio album by British rock band Kasabian, released on 6 September 2004. Four singles were released from the album; the highest chart position on the UK Album Chart was number 4. Different geographical regions had different colours for their album cover. The British version is black and white, the European import is black and red, and the American version is black and blue. The Japanese "Ultimate Version" is silver and white.

Fire was written by Sergio Pizzorno and is the 11th track on West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum album. It was released on 1 June 2009 as the first single off the album and peaked at in the UK charts, making it Kasabian’s highest charting single so far. On an episode of Sky Arts Songbook, Serge explained that Fire, the first song written for the album, was created from two different pieces of music, one written on acoustic guitar, the other on synth, sounding like Elvis and Kraftwerk respectively.
