Arab Strap, of course, are normal human beings, and since the days of 'Philophobia' they've been drinking the magic tea sparingly, it seems. Thier latest album, 'the Red Thread' (Turbulence is the second single from the album), is the band's most themeatically uncohesive and difficult. What's dissappointing is that the mixes on the single don't play out the song's great strengths, they don't reveal anything new. They don't, as I believe remixes ought, rework the original idea and play out a different aspect of the theme, but rather they simply retool the sound of it in a way that could have been done by a machine and that will appeal to DJs and your average slog on the dance floor.

Clear Air Turbulence is the second studio album by British jazz rock band Ian Gillan Band, released in 1977 with cover by Chris Foss. The album was initially worked on during the period July 1976 to September 1976. The album was reissued in 1989 by Virgin Records on CD, and in 2010 by Edsel Records.
