Garland at the Grove is a 1959 live album by American vocalist Judy Garland accompanied by Freddy Martin and his Orchestra. The album was recorded at the Cocoanut Grove nightclub at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. Goody Goody" is a 1936 popular song composed by Matty Malneck, with lyrics by Johnny Mercer. The song is referenced several times in the 1936 Kaufman and Hart play "You Can't Take It With You"
Back by Freddy Martin's orchestra, Garland was at a career low point - she was overweight and ill, but her 1960-61 career resurrection was just around the corner. The first official recording of Garland in live concert offers a tab version of what was to come. For the confirmed Garland-ite, any Garland is better than no Garland.
