Their multi-movement durational music arguably combines trance rock and audio collage above all - a diced and spliced approach to longform multi-movement groove music played by a stripped down quartet of two guitars, bass and drums, synched to pre-recorded electronics and musique concrète.

From the mind of former Fly Pan Am bassist Jean-Sebastien Truchy comes the avant-garde Afro-Kraut grooves of Avec le Soleil Sortant de Sa Bouche. After spending a couple of years honing their angular, cyclical funk, the Montreal-based quartet signed with Constellation Records ( Godspeed You! Black Emperor ) to release their debut LP Zubberdust!. Apart from some wordless, almost chant-like singing, Zubberdust! is a mostly instrumental affair based around two longform pieces that play out continuously, but also feature track markers at distinct thematic developments.
