Morrissey has unveiled new band merchandise which features the singer posing almost fully naked next to the Queen. The t-shirt, which is allegedly being sold on Morrissey’s current tour, features a composite image of Moz standing nude with a vinyl record covering his modesty (taken from the inner-sleeve artwork for his ‘I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris’ single) next to a photo of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. Morrissey’s is shown covering the Queen’s mouth in the image. He will chat and perform ‘Kiss Me A Lot’ from the 2014 album ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’. Other guests joining Morrissey on the same episode include Elijah Wood and former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan.

Morrissey’s semi-official fansite True to You claimed last week that a label executive had refused to release Morrissey’s song, instead choosing another Paris tribute utilizing current crop of Universal artists. A UK representative for Universal said the accusations were hurtful and wrong. We have not received – let alone refused – any request from Morrissey himself related to ‘I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris’, the label said in a statement. Many people at Universal Music have been personally affected by the events in Paris. The implication that we have blocked a request from Morrissey in favor of another tribute ‘utilizing our current crop of Universal artists’ is hurtful and wrong.
