On their fourth outing, the three-piece maintains the corrosive concoction at the heart of their identity, while simultaneously progressing. It was released in April 2015 through Svart Records. Middle of Nowhere, Center of Everwhere. Acid King is a stoner metal band from San Francisco, California. It was formed in 1993 by frontwoman Lori . drummer Joey Osbourne and bassist Peter Lucas. Acid King have since recorded four studio albums and two EPs with a series of bassists. The band's name was inspired by the crimes of Ricky Kasso, who murdered his friend Gary Lauwers in Northport, New York on June 19, 1984. Kasso was nicknamed "Acid King" by his peers due to his chronic hallucinogenic drug use. The band's debut EP features a photograph of Kasso on its cover.

Sound - 9 Acid King formed in 1993 by Lori S., Joey Osbourne and Peter Lewis. Peter Lewis was replaced on bass in 1996, and then several lineup changes for bass occurred with Mark Lamb currently covering bass duties for the past 9 years. While " Middle of Nowhere, Centre of Everywehre " is only the band's fourth full-length studio release, they have also released several EP's and split albums. That isn't to say that this is a prolific band, because this will be their first new music released in 10 years. The album contains 8 tracks and clocks in at approximately 54 minutes. The album opens up with the track, " Intro," which is made up of heavy (so heavy) instrumental riffing, and really just serves the purpose of preparing your audio palette for the rest of the album.
