While most of the songs on Be Here Now on the whole don't match up to his very finest, hearing the album in demo form shows amply that it's not the songs that are the problem, it's the production. My Big Mouth" minus the 250 guitar tracks is eminently more listenable, and even "All Around The World" at 6 minutes doesn't really lose much, save for bombast.
