Lights & Motion is a Swedish cinematic post-rock musical project, founded in Gothenburg 2012 by Christoffer Franzén. The project came into life after a long period of insomnia, where Christoffer chose to spend his nights in a studio in Gothenburg, writing music. The music has been described as cinematic in quality and in its reoccurring use of big crescendos.

It was released worldwide on January 13, 2015, through the American independent record label Deep Elm Records, who also released the band's two previous albums. The album was produced and mixed by Christoffer Franzén and recorded in Gothenburg during 2014.

Lights & Motion (until 2012/11 known as aerials) is built around the 24 year old Swedish musician Christoffer Franzén. In the fall of 2011, he started to spend nights alone in the studio, learning about the different ways of recording and creating music. With no one else there with him, he was forced to pick up all the different kinds of instruments that he felt he needed himself. Songs started to emerge during these late night sessions, and Lights & Motion started to take its form.
