THE UNDIVIDED ROOTS BAND is a British Reggae Band formed in 1982 around the nucleus of Carlton ‘Bubblers’ Ogilvie, Anthony ‘Bongo Dashi’ Thomas, Kenton ‘Fish’ Brown, Antonio ‘Crucial’ Phillips and Don Campbell. The popularity of the Band at home and abroad started to grow immediately due to touring with famous Jamaican Reggae Entertainers, this gave the Band the opportunity to travel all over the World.

The Roots are an American hip hop band, formed in 1987 by Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter and Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The Roots currently serve as the house band on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, having served in the same role on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon from 2009–2014.
Undivided Roots, Category: Artist, Albums: Hands and Heart - Together, Biography: Undivided Roots were formed in the early 80s around the nucleus of Carlton ‘Bubblers’ Ogilvie, Kenton ‘Fish’ Brown and Antonio Philips. Monthly Listeners: 144, Where People Listen: Honolulu, Los Angeles, 'Ewa Beach, London, Birmingham. The band built a solid foundation between 1982 and 1984 when they diversified into pop and R&B, which they performed to audiences in the Middle East. On their return they performed alongside the BRAFA collective for the Ethiopian Famine appeal with the release of ‘Let’s Make Africa Green Again’. The album topped the reggae album charts and remained on the chart throughout the year. In the same year the band performed at the Reggae Sunsplash Festival in London, which led to an appearance at the Jamaican Festival in 1987.
