This is an album I did not plan to make, it just happened. I had hit a musical depression in the late 70’s and the economy was not promising. My interest in the drum looping tricks by the Bee Gees encouraged me to try the looping process myself, and I practiced drums and recorded a few songs and developed a sound that was interesting at that time. It turned into a project named John Wagner and The Unity Band and had a touch of Latin Percussion, rock and roll, disco and big band sounds.

It was originally the sixth movement of Lecuona's Suite Andalucía (1933), to which he added lyrics in Spanish.
