Jazz is the seventh studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 10 November 1978 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records in the United States. The album's varying musical styles were alternately praised and criticised.

The Miracle" is the fifth and final single from Queen's 1989 studio album of the same name. It was composed by the entire band, though Freddie Mercury and John Deacon were the main writers. It was released as a single in late November 1989, some six months after the album. It was the last single released from that album. The idea for the song came from Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, who wrote the basic chord structure for the song.

The result was the Jazz album. Hence, perhaps, the title Jazz, one that could have been commercial suicide or downright misleading. However, Queen were now so very popular they could have come up with just about anything as a title for a seventh disc – whose ever-so-slightly jokey handle (the antithesis of everything punk or new wave) was deemed just-so. But the last thing you’ll find on Jazz is any Jazz. In July 1978, Queen decamped to France, to the same Super Bear studio near to Nice and the agreeable beaches of the Cote d’Azur, where David Gilmour had completed his debut solo album.

Jazz At Massey Hall - The Quintet This album appears reissued under the name "The Greatest Concert Ever". It is an all star lineup of Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Charles Mingus, and Max Roach; all who were prominent in the development of bebop about 15 years beforehand (1953) and thus were all seasoned veterans by the time of the concert. This is the only recording of these five legends playing together and everyone plays brilliantly. This album is a compilation of some of his best recordings from his early years in the 1920's as he set up the template for modern jazz era to come having musician taking turns soloing individually rather than the group jam style of dixieland. The musicians on these recordings are tight, joyous, and even a little silly at times.

Having permitted unsated expectations to endure for so long, Vangelis finally released an album in 1994. I say ‘an’ album because the 12 tracks (one hour of audio) that Vangelis carefully selected to create his album clashed headlong into fans’ hunger for more. It was clear from the day of its release that this was only a small portion of the music created.
