Two months later, they signed with Warner Bros. Records and contributed a song to the Fantastic Four soundtrack. Soon afterwards, the group rented a room in Manhattan where they composed songs for Louder Now. They came up with 20 songs, discarding half of them and recording demos of the remainder.

With producer Eric Valentine, the album takes a turn in a different direction from the past two efforts. The album starts off with the mesmerizing opening riff on What’s It Feel Like To Be A Ghost" then the bass, drums and second guitar blast into make the opening of the song and the album by far the best of the three albums. The verse consists of palm muted guitar and dual vocals by both Adam and Fred.

After falling in love with that version of the song, they surprise us and revamp the song to make it even better than the original version we all grew to love.
