Living the Dream is Slash's fourth solo album, the third to feature Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Slash released it September 21, 2018, on his own record label: Snakepit Records. The album was produced by Michael Baskette, who also produced the previous record World on Fire. After reuniting with Guns N' Roses in 2016, the possibility of a third record for Slash and Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators was in question, let alone if they would stay together.

Living in a Dream is the first live album and DVD by the Texas blues rock band Arc Angels, their second album over all. The first disk of the album contains the majority of a show recorded March 26, 2005 at Stubb's Bar-B-Q in Austin, Texas. The second disk contains 3 studio tracks recorded for specifically for this album in 2009 and the remainder of the 2005 show, the song "Spanish Moon

Album centrepiece Rocks In The Road is the other moment on Living The Dream when it’s impossible to imagine any long-term Heep fans not losing their shit. Eight minutes long and gently redolent of past triumphs like July Morning and Salisbury, it erupts into bombast worthy of The Who but sounds less like an exercise in reverent retro rock than a wholesale upgrade for this band’s prog sensibilities. A staggering 49 years in, Heep are still living the dream and making it look easy. Classic Rock Newsletter.

Living The Dream is the band’s third, and best, album. It brings purpose and focus to the vision he and vocalist Myles Kennedy have for what they want to achieve. It has arena-rock attitude, but contained within songs and performances that are a lot more intimate and highly charged than you might expect. Slash’s punchy guitar style complements Kennedy’s passionate vocals, and in doing so brings to mind what Aerosmith achieved in the late 80s. It begins with Call Of The Wild, which starts off taking you down an expected path but soon shifts mentality to throw you off balance.

The rest of the album blends arias and classical material with more familiar pop tunes like "Over the Rainbow" and the World War II anthem "We'll Meet Again.

More accurately, we are living within a dream within a dream. To avoid being bored with our existence as Eternal Human Beings, we participate in an advanced computer program (for the lack of a better term) that gives us the opportunity to creat a new "virtual" reality for us, as an Advanced Human Being as experienced in our eternal brain.
