George Clinton’s Parliament are back after almost four decades. The funk stalwarts just released Medicaid Fraud Dogg, their first album since 1980’s Trombipulation. The album release follows the advance single I’m Gon Make U Sick of Me, featuring Scarface. In a Reddit AMA early this year, Clinton was asked why Medicaid Fraud Dogg would be released under the Parliament moniker, rather than its twin band Funkadelic.
Though technically Clinton's first "solo" album, the record featured most of the same personnel who had appeared on recent albums by Parliament and Funkadelic, both formally disbanded by Clinton in 1981

Parliament have returned. George Clinton’s legendary funk group have released a new album titled Medicaid Fraud Dogg-listen to it below. It features the previously released single I’m Gon Make U Sick O’Me, featuring Scarface. The last album to be released under the Parliament moniker was 1980’s Trombipulation. In an interview from earlier this year, Clinton revealed that the new Parliament album features P-Funk horn players Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis, Greg Thomas, and Benny Cowan. Clinton is set to retire from touring in 2019
