Kivimetsän Druidi could well be the next big thing from this cold and beautiful country. About the recording ‘Shadowheart’ itself, you can well imagine that fans like me were waiting with a certain impatience that’s out. Actually the result is above all and each song is amazing and is worth. Along the listening of the cd, you can hear that the band has grown.

Kivimetsän Druidi's first official full-length album, Shadowheart, however, is a rare example of a black metal disc that features a female lead singer. Shadowheart, however, is not goth metal per se. Rather, the music of this Finnish band is best described as a mixture of folk-metal and symphonic black.

As Druidi, we experienced unbelievably cool tours, long road trips, awesome gigs, awesome people, exceedingly tasty beers, senseless messing around, temper tantrums - and the list goes on.
