Laurel & Hardy (reggae). They released one album while together, What a Bargain (1983). They also appeared in the Channel 4 comedy No Problems (1984 ) as Bim & Ba. .What a Bargain (1983), EMI/Upright.

Laurel and Hardy were primarily comedy film actors. However, many of their films featured songs, and some are considered as musicals in their own right. The composer Leroy Shield scored most of Laurel and Hardy sound shorts although they were often misattributed to Marvin Hatley. The duo's "cuckoo" theme, entitled "Dance of The Cuckoos", was composed by Roach musical director Marvin Hatley as the on-the-hour chime for the Roach studio radio station

They began performing in a soul style, but soon evolved an easy-going reggae style with vaguely satirical lyrics usually based around police harassment. Laurel and Hardy officially became a team in 1927 when they appeared together in the silent short film
