Description

This 1986 live set, recorded in front of a loudly appreciative crowd at the National Ballroom in Kilburn, Ireland, has the lusty spirit and lighthearted humor of the best Irish folk music, which gives the biting edge of songs like "Sean South of Garryowen," "The Boys of the Old Brigade," and "Come Out Ye Black and Tans" a stirring, life-affirming quality missing.

Come Out Ye Black And Tans. My Heart Is In Ireland.

An Evening With Wally Londo Featuring Bill Slaszo is the seventh album released by George Carlin, released in October 1975. It was also included as part of the 1999 The Little David Years (1971–1977) box set. Carlin mentioned the album's release when he hosted the first episode of Saturday Night Live. The "Baseball-Football" bit can be frequently heard at the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum in Cooperstown, New York.

The Tones were descended from a French Protestant family who fled to England from Gascony in the 16th century to escape religious persecution. A branch of the family settled in Dublin in the 17th century. Theobald's father Peter Tone was a Church of Ireland coach-maker who had a farm near Sallins, County Kildare.
