The discography of Death, a metal band, consists of seven studio albums and four live albums. Death was an American metal band founded in 1983. The band's founder, Chuck Schuldiner, is considered "a pioneering force in death metal". The band ceased to exist after Schuldiner died of brain cancer in 2001, though it remains an enduring metal brand. As of 2008, Death had sold over 2 million albums worldwide, with over 500,000 copies sold by December 2009 in the .

Death was the first Death Metal band formed by Chuck Schuldiner (Vocals, Lead Guitars and former Bassist) who is considered as the 'Father of Death Metal' for his huge influence on the genre. With Death he produced 7 studio albums from 1987 to 1998. My favourite album, my 4th favourite album of all time, the outro to Perennial Quest is so special. I love this album! Best of the best - I fully agree. This album sets the bar I use against the rest in realms of proficiently played competent metal music. Everything is just perfect here (songwriting, musicianship, lyrics). I always find something new, different, another dimension/layer even after many listens.
