Delusions is the fourth studio album recorded by American female vocal trio First Choice, released in 1977 on the Gold Mind label. The album features the song "Doctor Love", which peaked at No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 23 on the Hot Soul Singles chart. Another single, "Love Having You Around", had moderate success on the charts. The album was remastered and reissued with bonus tracks in 2012 by Big Break Records. Rochelle Fleming, Annette Guest, Ursula Herring – vocals.
First Choice is an American girl group vocal music trio from Philadelphia. The group produced the Soul/disco hits "Armed and Extremely Dangerous", "Smarty Pants", "The Player", "Love Thang", "Let No Man Put Asunder" and "Doctor Love". They were signed to soul label Philly Groove Records and to disco label Gold Mine in addition to Warner Bros.
First Choice is a three-piece 70s disco girl group, similar to The Three Degrees but more sassy, with Rochelle Fleming on lead. I got something for your mind, your body & your soul"/ "It's Not Over" are probably their most sampled lines (from the perennial "Let No Man Put Asunder"). Originally signed to Philly Groove Records via a production contract with Norman Harris, the group came with Harris when he signed onboard the newly formed Salsoul.
