Pies en la Tierra has participated in international festivals around the world. Some include the International Jazz Fest in San Sebastian (Spain), Getxo Jazz and Ezcaray Jazz Fest (Spain), & MIRA Jazz in Buenos Aires, Jazz a la Calle (Mercedes, Uruguay), y Vientos de Jazz (Arica, Chile). Our 4 albums "Pies en la Tierra" (2004), "Part De" (2005), "Shungo" (2009) and Anomalía (2011) have marked a new stage in the Ecuadorian contemporary music, thus becoming an icon of reference within the scene of national and international music. One of the main features of the quartet is the active participation and collaboration of highly recognized international musicians such as Jorge Pardo, Randy Brecker, Perico Sambeat, Ricardo Cavalli, Tony Speranza, and Walt Szymansky among others. The group will be on tour through Europe in february, march of 2019.
