Face It. Guns Up! Album All This Is. Face It Lyrics. Reality snuck up on you Pushed you in a corner Now there's nothign to do You way you'll face it It's just another time Hiding from youself Keep your problems in line Procrastinate until it gets out of hand I see your wits holding by a thin hope's strand It's just another day, a chance gone by. You're wasted, time to face it Looks like you're out of time
Apparently, Guns Up! realized that they needed something more as well and they really worked hard to redefine their sound. Their new record is definitely still an old school style hardcore record, but where their last record really didn't have anything that set it apart from the competition, Outlive presents a band whose sound has evolved into an unusually well-written breed of hardcore that seems to be taking its cues from 80's thrash metal. Bottom Line: I'm very impressed by Guns Up's evolution from their debut for 1917 Records to their follow up, Outlive. It's obvious that unlike so many other hardcore bands, they have no desire to stagnate and this record is a breath of fresh air, both from the band and from the hardcore scene in general.

At the same, all of a sudden Guns N' Roses is back together and I want to do that. When I did the Snakepit thing, it was just a side-project to do after the last big Guns N' Roses tour. It was a different thing altogether. It wasn't very stable. I was just doing it for fun. What is IT like to have two main outlets now? This all really just happened. The Living the Dream record with the Conspirators is great. And the box itself is this wood thing that's hand-done in leather. You can get all the material in a less grandiose package. For me personally, it was cathartic to get that stuff out there. Was there anything that you found while putting IT together that surprised you? There was some stuff from the Marquee - I never actually heard it until just recently. We'd just recorded the album. It hadn't even come out yet.
definite guns n roses, the sappy ballads are ok but gnr was all about the attitude and balls. Probably the best post-Zeppelin rock song ever. I am gonna say nothing its the best must be from the top 3 songs all of the songs up are great but in my opinion civil war is the best. Great singing and lyrics about war and freedom. This 8 minute masterpiece is the opening track on Use Your Illusion 2, and is in my opinion better than some of the other brilliant songs on there, such as Yesterdays, Knocking on Heavens Door, Estranged and You Could Be Mine.
Guns N’ Roses have got a brand new album on the way, following their successful world tour. The November Rain singers have confirmed their first new album for 25 years is ‘in good shape’, as Slash is ‘writing all the time’. The guitarist has reportedly been having such a blast on their Not In This Lifetime world tour that he has been ‘inspired’ to work on new songs. Us. In. Slash revealed he has been writing new music for Guns N’ Roses (Picture: FilmMagic). We want to do something

Guns N’ Roses have a fairly warped concept of time, to put it mildly, so even if they started working on new tunes tomorrow, a follow-up to 2008’s Chinese Democracy likely wouldn’t see the light of day for a couple more years. But after restoring their reputation and making a killing on the road for the past two-and-a-half years, the band would be wise to bless fans with a proper comeback album. Here are four reasons why a new Guns N’ Roses album would be a huge success. Goodwill and momentum from touring. With all this renewed interest in the band’s back catalog, a new Guns N’ Roses album would captivate several generations of listeners at once. Who says these guys aren’t a family band? They would enjoy a sizable streaming boost.
