Kiss is the debut studio album by American rock band Kiss, released on February 8, 1974. Much of the material on the album was written by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, as members of their pre-Kiss band Wicked Lester. Simmons estimated that the entire process of recording and mixing took three weeks, while co-producer Richie Wise has stated it took just 13 days.

Lady Eva Kant (as Kiss Tímea). Eva is the girlfriend and sidekick of criminal mastermind Diabolik. Eva is portrayed as an attractive blonde young woman; she drives a black E-Type Jaguar, and usually goes into action wearing a heavy sweater and trousers, no mask and no revealing clothing. She usually wears her hair up. The First KISS album, Dressed To Kill, KISS Alive 1, Rock'n'Roll Over, Creatures and Lick It Up are the best albums over all. Love Gun, Hotter Than Hell and Dynasty have great songs on them but they also have some filler tunes, so I rate these albums a bit lower. The Elder is very under-rated. Crazy Nights is mostly cheese and Revenge is over-rated. Carnival Of Souls is under-rated. This is definitely the greatest KISS album out there. There are 20 studio albums & I like most of the ones from the first album to the mid-80s, then most from the mid-90s to their newest one from 2012. When fans pick the best Kiss album of the non-makeup years they usually point to either the first, 1983's Lick It Up, or the last, 1992's Revenge. But while the former boasts a stellar title track and not much else, and the latter finds the band trying just a little too hard to be well, hard, Hot in the Shade stands tall as a surprisingly solid slab of late-Eighties hard rock. This album was released just two years after Alive!, by which time Kiss, despite heavy touring, had managed to squeeze out another trio of studio efforts. As a result, Alive II, again a double-disc set, basically reproduces the blockbuster formula of its predecessor, but with an entirely new batch of songs (making it perhaps the last time, if we pretend that the album represents one discrete show, that the band didn’t play Rock and Roll All Nite ).
