London" is a single by the Pet Shop Boys released as the third single from their album Release. It was released exclusively in Germany and Europe and as a promotional-only release in the UK. The single cover features a pigeon, possibly a reference to the city of London itself. The European CD single has Pet Shop Boys written in green, whilst the German CD single has it written in pink. It was designed by Scott King.

Release (Pet Shop Boys album). Release is the eighth studio album by the English synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys. It was first released in 2002. After the release of their previous studio album, Nightlife, it was originally planned that they would release a greatest hits collection in the autumn of 2000 with the two new tracks "Positive Role Model" and "Somebody Else's Business".

As well as the remastered album with original track-listing, the ‘Further listening’ album of additional material features previously unreleased demos entitled ‘Vocal’, ‘She pops’ and ‘In slow motion’, as well as PSB mixes and remixes of ‘Leaving’ and ‘Memory of the future’. The 2CD format is packaged with an extensive booklet in which Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe discuss each song, illustrated with many archive photographs.

The discography of the Pet Shop Boys, an English electronic/pop music duo, comprises 13 studio albums, four compilation albums, two live albums, four remix albums, one extended play and 55 singles. The duo's debut single, "West End Girls", was first released in 1984 but failed to chart in most regions. However, the song was entirely re-recorded in late 1985, and this newly recorded version became their first number-one single, topping the UK Singles Chart, Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Singles Chart

Pop kids: The Pet Shop Boys return with a sparkling thirteenth album ( Rex ). Thirteen albums in, the golden age of Pet Shop Boys is a pop eternity ago but a Status Quo-like refusal to budge from their template means they remain masters of their own, very singular domain

The new production of Closer to Heaven is running at the Above The Stag Theatre in Vauxhall, London, until August 31st.
