The Indelicates are a Sussex-based English indie rock band. Formed in 2005 by Julia and Simon Indelicate, the band currently consists of Julia and Simon, Alastair Clayton, Nick Kos, Emma-Ben Lewis, Louisa Wood and Heather Newton. They have released six albums. The Indelicates formed after Julia Indelicate left her former band, The Pipettes. The Indelicates initially consisted solely of Julia and Simon Indelicate.

We talk to Simon and Julia Indelicate about their second album and unique record label venture. On April 12, 2010, Royal Assent was granted to the Digital Economy Act, a controversial anti-piracy law which had just been squeezed through parliament. Fittingly, the same day also saw the release of The Indelicates' second LP, Songs For Swinging Lovers, through their own pay-what-you-like Corporate Records venture.
