Ambrosia is an American rock band formed in southern California in 1970. Ambrosia had five Top 40 hit singles released between 1975 and 1980, including the Top 5 hits "How Much I Feel" and "Biggest Part of Me", and top 20 hits "You're the Only Woman (You & I)" and "Holdin' on to Yesterday". Most of the original band members have been active with the group continuously for well over 25 years to the present day.

The album earned Ambrosia their second Grammy nomination and spawned the popular radio singles Somewhere I’ve Never Travelled and Can’t Let A Woman. With the success the record afforded the group, Ambrosia subsequently signed with Warner Bros. After playing a great set, Ambrosia was very welcoming to Player, and supported the 2 person band with their creative expertise and high energy. It was especially fun having Joe call them back on stage to jam a few extra songs, because they all appeared to be having as much fun on stage as we were out in the audience!
