DARKNESS-"Death Squad" LP was released in '87 on Tales Of Thrash Records. It is in NO WAY innovative or ahead of its time. It is thoroughly OF its time. The second DARKNESS album "Defenders Of Justice" features a MUCH more technical, risk-taking approach, with some success but also a bit of a sacrifice in the speed department(although it's still pretty damn fast at times and a must-have if you enjoy "Death Squad").
