Finally, for every sublime Robert Miles and Art of Trance song on this CD, there are songs such as the Moonman remix of "The World '99" that are downright gaudy. Yet even when considering these many problems, Trance Nation does fare better than many of Ministry of Sound's other compilations that often wander aimlessly from one genre to the next in their mission to capture all the biggest club hits. Furthermore, no album will give naive newcomers a better taste of commercialized progressive trance anthems than this loaded collection. Track Listing - Disc 1. Sample.
Used: Very Good Details. Anyway, back to Trance Nation 2001. Ferry Corsten has come through once again on his Trance Nation albums. With Trance Nation 2001 we once again see the new tracks (Flight 643 - DJ Tiesto)mixed in with a couple of old proven numbers(Thrillseekers - Synaesthia). As always Ferry has managed to dig-up a slightly different version of the tracks though for this latest disc. The key word for this newest album would definitely be "vocals". For the most part they fit in rather well, but now and again they can seem a little out of place.
